Hygiene and infection control have always been of utmost importance in many institutions worldwide, as well as at people’s homes.

In the past, ‘good hygiene’ was achieved by using chemicals that were often detrimental to nature and unsafe to use. In the meantime, these chemicals have proven to induce serious resistance among bad germs.

During recent years, industry and legislators have made efforts to make cleaning products more environmentally friendly, but still a negative impact on the environment and remains.

Chrisal is aware of the major problems with resistant bacteria and after years of research has found a sustainable and effective solution. This solution makes use of nature itself!

Good microorganisms, called probiotics, are used to create and maintain a healthy microflora on surfaces. During and after cleaning a layer of probiotics is placed on the treated surface. These probiotics immediately become active and start degrading organic dirt in a 100% biological way. They are active for at least three days and actively prevent odours and lower the risk of germs.

Compared to chemical cleaning products, the probiotic cleaning products offer the following advantages:

– Deep cleaning: the probiotics remove dirt and biofilm from deep in the surface. This leads to a visual major cleaning improvement. (see picture: chemical cleaning on top and probiotic cleaning at the bottom).

– Odour reduction: the probiotics are capable of actively absorb odour molecules or to remove substances that can otherwise be transformed into odour molecules by other bacteria. The probiotic work both preventive and curative.

– Safety: compared to most chemical cleaning products and certainly to disinfectants, the probiotic Ecolabel products are absolutely safe to use and have no CLP danger symbols!

– Environment beneficial: the strongest advantage of the probiotic PIP Ecolabel products is that they go much further than just environment friendly.
